so the doc called this morning with the test results..
negative.
but...
I still haven't started my period even though I started spotting this morning early.
haha.. all I can do at this point is laugh.
God sure does have a sense of humor.
Hope I'm not pregnant because I did have a few drinks today in "condolencratulations" on not being pregnant again this cycle.. and yet I realized later that I hadn't started.. fun fun.

okay. can i just tell you what i'm thinking/feeling? (because I want you to be pregnant!)
I just want to share my experience, and maybe help you not be so confused, but I'm sure you already know all of this so maybe this is more for someone who may happen across your blog and need this info....
I've done a ton of research on getting pregnant, being pregnant, and having babies(since I want to be a midwife and all).
Implantation bleeding. It can be considering spotting. and implantation can occur up to a week or more after conception.
postive test results may not show up until after the embryo has implanted....the hormones haven't begun being secreted in the amounts needed to fully sustain a pregnancy because the body doesn't fully realize that there is an embryo until it's implanted (hence my numerous negative tests and month or more "late" period)
As for the drinks if you are preggers.....it'll be okay Just don't make a habit of it. (the same thing happened to me and I have a beautiful, bouncy, active, intelligent, handsome, little boy!)
Sorry to hijack your comment space. Your in my prayers!
Thanks Erin. I went ahead and published your comment, even though I do know all of that. (I've been trying to get pregnant for almost 4 years now.. so yeah, done all the research too! ;) )
I unfortunately started my period this morning, but your posts kept me hopeful, and I love keeping hope till the old nasty unwelcome visitor shows her face!
Hope this helps somebody else! I did read about a TON of women whom this happened to and they were, actually, pregnant.
