I am feeling the desire to discuss why we plan on trying out some treatment.
For those of you who know me well, and those of you who read my blog, you should know that we have suffered the loss of 4 babies at a very early stage in pregnancy.
The main reason we are trying treatment, is because it comes with more diagnostic tests.
I don't know about you, but I don't like to lose babies.
We also have very few options for birthcontrol for various reasons (ie: allergies to latex and plastic, propensity for migraines and therefor increased risk of major stroke caused by hormones, etc) so if we are going to not use anything and still have an active *intimate* life, as is necessary for a successful marriage, I would love to find a reason to the RPL so that if conception happens, maybe we'll have a treatment plan in place to prevent miscarriage number 5. People forget that all infertility treatment doubles as a diagnostic tool for those with RPL.(ask Geoffry and Jonathon Sher from the Sher Infertility clinics!)
