Well, we have a little tidbit of news on the foster/adopt front.I talked to a home developer at our agency, and it looks like placement is down nearly 1/3 in the state of Texas due to a law that was passed in July. Children may now only be taken out of their homes AFTER a hearing, unless there is violence going on right then, or the child is in the hospital suffering from the injuries of the violence. While this has cut down on placements, it does mean that children who are being abused but the parents haven't been caught, or the child hasn't been hospitalized are still in their abusive situations. Please pray for our children, as it may take longer for them to come home.
