OOh! I am loving my new job!
Here's what I do:
I am in charge of Elementary Sunday School, known as Journey. It's a rotational style Sunday School, which is so much fun! There are 13 different classrooms,and a couple hundred kiddos, and nearly 40 volunteers each week.
I choose curriculum (basically) and get it ready for each volunteer.
I start and head up new projects for the Elementary Education Department at CRUMC.
I organize, recruit and train volunteers, a list that numbers in the hundreds!
I work from 8:30 (or 9) to about 3:30, Monday through Thursday, sometimes Friday if I want to get work done in peace and quiet, and Sunday mornings for a couple of hours, but I still get to make it to most of the service and my adult Sunday school!
So yeah, that's about it in a nutshell.
A blog that has turned it's focus from the pain of infertility to the journey of foster care (though we never got a single call!) to the joy of adoption! We are currently in the process of adopting three amazing and beautiful children. Come join us on our journey!
